RIVA 66 RIBELLE

Ribelle (Italian for ‘Rebel’) is perhaps not the kind of behaviour one associates with a member of the blue-blooded Riva family, but Riva assures us that the name Riva 66 Ribelle was chosen to reflect the radically new ideas they have incorporated into this new model.

INTERIOR

The 66 Ribelle is descended from the 63 Vertigo, but unlike the 63 she has an enclosed main deck saloon, with a sliding door that opens out onto the aft deck. And because she has a main deck saloon, she doesn’t have the lower deck saloon of the 63 Vertigo, so the sleeping cabins are much larger and more spacious. The lovely full-beam owner’s suite has great views out through huge hull windows. There’s also a VIP double guest suite in the bow, plus a twin berth suite, plus a crew cabin at the stern.

EXTERIOR

At first glance the 66 Ribelle is a stunning, beautifully styled, hardtop sports cruiser. But in fact she’s rather more than that, as she has a top deck discreetly fashioned into that sleek profile, complete with an upper helm and a big sun lounger. On the foredeck is an even larger lounger, and another on the aft deck, above a garage which is large enough to accommodate a Williams Jet tender.

In the great tradition of Riva, driving the 66 Ribelle is a truly wonderful experience – the waterborne equivalent of getting behind the wheel of a Bentley. That means you can look forward to a superb ride, exemplary handling and effortless performance from the twin 1550hp engines. These give the 66 Ribelle a top speed of 37 knots (42.5mph).
