ITAMA 62RS
2022 saw the launch of the Itama 62RS, a thoroughly updated version of the spacious 62, featuring an all-new interior for comfortable cruising for six, with a redesigned cockpit, uprated technology, and a greater focus on style and luxury. For this revised 62RS, the deep-V hull design is complemented by Humphree Interceptor trim tabs on the transom, replacing the previous flaps, and an optional Seakeeper NG9 gyro stabilizer.
INTERIOR
Below decks, the new layout comprises three cabins, with an impressively spacious master suite in the bow, and two guest cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms….and still leaving space for a dining room. The fully-equipped mid-mounted galley has mostly Siemens and Bosch appliances as well as composite work surfaces and storage. Opposite is a dining area with a height-adjustable table that lowers to form another bed, plus a crew cabin located at the transom….and yes, as you might expect for such a party boat, the sound system is first-class.

Technology upgrades for the 62RS, include the layout of the helm station, with its redesigned dashboard and all-digital instrumentation featuring standard 12-inch screens with the option of 16-inch displays. Always an impressive sight, with its massive cockpit, enormous foredeck and low, sleek profile, the Itama 62RS is now more classy than ever, especially if you choose the teak deck option. As a platform for enjoying a sunny summer’s day on the water the 62RS is hard to beat. Almost half her entire length is given over to the huge cockpit, with a massive sunbed at the stern, a big lounging/dining area for up to 10 and another seating area and lounger up front opposite the skipper.

PERFORMANCE
This latest Itama is still all about going fast in comfort and style. Performance comes courtesy of twin MAN V12 turbo diesels cranking out 1,400-horsepower each, and capable of powering the 62RS to a top speed of over 45 mph. At the boat’s mid-30s cruise speed, the engines are running at a relaxed 2,000 rpm. The classic 20° deep-V hull of the Itama 62RS rides effortlessly over all kinds of sea-state, and tracks straight as a die, making her a joy to helm. She will cruise smoothly and very comfortably for up to 7 hours.
