PERSHING 7X

Teak decks, a super-luxury interior, designer furnishings – all very comfortable and civilised, and yet the Pershing 7x also has a phenomenal top speed of no less than 50 knots! This remarkable combination epitomises the essence of Pershing, all perfectly encapsulated in the fabulous Pershing 7x. At 70ft overall (21.4m) with three beautifully appointed suites, two double and one twin, there is no finer example of a high-speed grand tourer for up to six people.

INTERIOR

Pershing has achieved wonders in the main saloon of the 7x, with a sensational outlook in all directions through the huge expanse of glazing, and a window line at the perfect height so as not to interrupt the view. Two sliding glazed panels in the roof, plus Pershing’s trademark ‘vanishing’ patio doors onto the aft deck, create a superbly light and airy space, whether you have everything open, or close everything up and switch on the a/c. On the lower deck are two superb double suites and a twin, plus a fully-equipped galley. A crew cabin is at the stern.

EXTERIOR

With Pershing’s ingenious slide-away doors and windows between the main saloon and aft deck, the main deck is effectively one delightful, seamless indoor/outdoor living space right through to the stern seating area and its huge lounger. A couple of steps lead down to that enormous, signature Pershing stern platform, where the garage door lifts to reveal plenty of space and an ingenious launching system for a sizeable RIB tender. As a added bonus Pershing has also created a superb lounging area on the foredeck that will delight committed sun-lovers.

PERFORMANCE

Even amongst the high-performance company of the Pershing fleet, the 7x is ahead of the pack. Instead of the typical Pershing top speed of 45 knots, the 7x will reach a phenomenal 50 knots. That’s 57mph. Ease back to cruising speed, and she will romp along effortlessly at 42 knots, covering some 300nm non-stop in around 7 hours. High-efficiency surface drives are the key to this performance, all very simple to control these days with computer-managed steering and trim.
